I’ve been wondering how are you coping with current pandemic situation. How it has affected relationships between you and your dogs? Have you been spending more time together? Have you been playing more indoors?
I’m lucky – I’m a freelancer and work from home, so I spend a lot of time with my dogs, both outdoors and indoors. I don’t have any problem to keep them busy, but I understand that a lot of people who – due to pandemic – have started working from home can have problems to focus on given task if the dogs are constantly begging for attention.
You probably know that solving puzzles decreases dogs’ reactivity and helps them to relax. Mental stimulation provided by snuffle and foraging toys tires dogs and afterwards they become calmer and often fall asleep.
