Important info for Ukrainians fleeing their country with their pets
To get a pet passport in Poland you need to visit a vet. But due to a huge number of animals entering Poland without passports there is already a problem with getting one. I’ve just spoken to my vet in Warsaw and he doesn’t have them. Normally he has to wait a day or two to get them, but now it is a week or so. So please, dear Ukrainians, if you are travelling with your pet companion through Poland to other countries, which accept animals without documents, don’t try to get a passport in Poland. This way we will avoid further delays.

Here’s the list of countries, which accept pets without proper documents (countries with * might have additional requirements, like quarantine, so if you are travelling there, please check them first).
