I love Autumn, with its beautiful colors, falling leaves and … pumpkins! Pumpkins are great also for dogs, I often use them in treats. Here is my first Autumn recipe for you:
Beef , pumpkin , and fresh marjoram treats.
Ingredients:
2 parts of lean beef, cooked
1 part of pumpkin, cooked (I usually use Hokkaido)
1 tsp of fresh marjoram leaves
1 egg
2 tbsp of coconut oil, melted
hemp flour, just to get the paste thick like hummus.
Blend beef with pumpkin and marjoram. You can add splash of water to make blending easier. When you get smooth paste, add an egg and cooled melted coconut oil. Stir. Add flour. If the paste is too runny, add some more flour. If it’s too thick, you can add some water. When you finally have smooth, hummus-like paste, spread it onto the mold and bake for about 20-30 minutes. Check every few minutes to make sure you don’t burn the treats.
